The 2023 Legislative Session has arrived in the Free state of Florida! Opening this past Tuesday, March 7th, House Speaker Paul Renner and Senate President Kathleen Passidomo began the proceedings within their respective chambers. This was followed by a joint session in the House Chamber where Governor Ron DeSantis gave the annual State of the State address, delivering powerful statements on the right to life, protecting children from sexualization, empowering parental rights, and promoting school choice.

New polling conducted by Ragnar Research for SBA Pro-Life America and the Florida Family Policy Council shows likely Florida voters strongly support protecting human life in the womb once a heartbeat can be detected. Almost three-quarters of voters oppose allowing abortion on demand up until birth.

Our Position on Pro-Life Petition Campaigns to Amend the Florida Constitution
It is critical to understand that the text of our constitution is not the problem. Instead, the problem lies with the liberal activist judges on the court in 1989 that clearly misinterpreted it. Therefore, we do not need to amend our state Constitution to “fix” our constitution because there is no abortion right in it.
