RECAP: Week #8- This week in Tallahassee…

Several of the FFPC priorities, both new and old, are moving towards the finish line, including the Defending Biological Sex in Healthcare Act, the Retention of Sexual Offense Evidence Act, Educator Preparation Programs Act, and the Gaming Control Act—all of which passed at least one of the two legislative chambers.

Apart from a few scheduling meetings, committee meetings are done, and the remainder of the session will be centered on the floors of the House and Senate chambers. It is critical to understand that the text of our constitution is not the problem. Instead, the problem lies with the liberal activist judges on the court in 1989 that clearly misinterpreted it. Therefore, we do not need to amend our state Constitution to “fix” our constitution because there is no abortion right in it.
