We are celebrating.
Since we last talked, Congress has been in chaos, facing conflict around the world and conflict within our country, leaving important cultural battles in limbo without a functioning congress.
We’ve been praying for a favorable resolution; God not only heard our prayers but delivered us Mike Johnson, a fantastic, principled, Godly man to serve in leadership over the U.S. Congress. I know him personally and worked with him when he was a lawyer for Alliance Defending Freedom. He has even called me personally over the years for advice and counsel on some Florida-related matters. No man is perfect, but he is a man we can trust on our core issues and this is major good news.
We’re overjoyed that one of the foremost congressional champions of life, marriage, religious liberty, and parental rights is leading the U.S. Congress.
This is great news for Florida and America.
As we approach the end of the year, looking ahead to 2024, we see both major opportunities and major threats.
But one thing that has never changed is the understanding that, if we are to create lasting change in our state, we must change hearts and minds in our culture.
That’s why we’re excited to announce the 2024 Pro-Life, Pro-Family Days event in Tallahassee on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Every year, FFPC comes together with government leaders to rally for faith, family, and freedom ahead of the legislative session.
We expect this year’s event to be more impactful than ever before – especially considering the radical left’s plans to try and strongarm abortion back into our state, expand LGBT promotions, and further remove parents from the classroom.
We are at the forefront of some very intense spiritual battles, and we need your help – in prayers, in finance, and in person – to send the message that Florida is, and always will be, the friendliest place in America to live, work, and raise a family.
We are asking every Floridian who cares about faith, family, and freedom to do these three things:
1. Make plans to attend Pro-Life, Pro-Family Days on January 22 in Tallahassee. You can register at FLfamily.org/ProFamilyDays
2. If you are able, please consider funding scholarships for pastors and students to attend this event. Your gift of $125 sends a student to the event and equips them with the information and energy they need to fight these battles for the next generation. Your gift of $350 sends a pastor to the event – and covers their travel and lodging – so that they can meet with and influence elected leaders to uphold Biblical values.
3. Please commit to daily prayer for our state, our elected leaders, and those in positions of influence. We know these battles are spiritual, and we need to cover our leaders in prayer.
Though the battles will be great, we are committed to doing everything in our power to win those facing us in 2024. Make no mistake, however: this will not be easy. Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, and their organizational allies are going to spend millions to influence Floridians toward their agendas. We must compete.

We need to raise an additional $250,000 to ensure we have sufficient boots on the ground to hold our ground in every corner of the state – from the Capital in Tallahassee to school boards and city councils across our state.
