ORLANDO, Fla. The pro-life movement has made an eternal impact on the fabric of America’s history. With powerful leaders at the helm, pro-life advocates have tirelessly worked to save millions of precious lives of the unborn, especially during the last five, turbulent decades of Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court ruling that made abortion legal on demand.

Through the efforts of pro-life warriors over the last 50 years, Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court ruling Dobbs v. Jackson on June 24, 2022.

To detail the impact these lifesaving leaders have had in America and around the world, this powerful new book, “Legacy of Life,” highlights 50 of the most influential pro-life leaders from the last 50 years. The book launches on June 26, 2023. This is a limited edition commemorative table book containing 50 tributes written by 50 of America’s most respected national influencers honoring the greatest founders, builders, strategists, and innovators of the pro-life movement during the last 50 years. Each leader is honored with a tribute, personal photos, and a customized frame in this remarkable collection of inspiring life stories of resilience, bravery, and commitment.

“Moral and spiritual darkness reigned in America for 50 years after the Roe v. Wade decision,” said John Stemberger, president and general counsel of the Florida Family Policy Council, and general editor of the “Legacy of Life” book. “But on June 24, 2022, light burst forth and pierced the darkness. It did not destroy the darkness completely, but a new light of hope now shines in the great struggle to end the evil of abortion in America.

This momentous book not only highlights legacy leaders in the pro-life movement, such as Jack Willke, Ronald Reagan, Francis Schaeffer, and Mother Teresa but also tells inspiring personal stories of these heroes that have not been told before. Additionally, the book will bring a surprise to readers as today’s top living pro-life leaders in America will be revealed during the Legacy of Life book launch in June during the one-year anniversary of the Dobbs case.

Stemberger continued, “The purpose of this commemorative book is three-fold: to honor, to educate, and to inspire. First, we want to honor those who dedicated their lives to this noble cause, both the living and the dead, that brought us to this remarkable moment. The book’s second goal is to educate the public about the history of the pro-life movement through accessible stories about the lives and work of these 50 leaders. The book’s third and most important goal is to motivate and inspire the next generation to become champions for life in the greatest human rights struggle of the last century.

“As I survey each of the men and women being honored in this book, they are, generally speaking, a very diverse group. Largely tough and resilient, many are also considered controversial — imperfect men and women fighting for a perfect cause against a great evil. Together they remind me of the rugged colonials who fought in the American Revolution. They are heroes who changed the course of history because they refused to give up the fight. Like the campaigns to end slavery in America, it took a sustained multi-generational effort. Our collective hope is that those reading this book will be encouraged and energized to invest their time, talents, and treasures, thus continuing the battle to honor, cherish, and protect life.”

Legacy of Life” will be available for purchase on June 26, 2023, but is available for preorder now. For more information, visit www.LegacyOfLifeBook.com. This book is being published by the Florida Family Policy Council.
