Dear FFV Family,
We’re celebrating a major victory today for children, families, and the right of states to protect both. In a decision with nationwide impact, the U.S. Supreme Court has allowed Tennessee’s law banning harmful gender transition procedures on minors to remain in effect. This decision sends a clear message: states have the constitutional authority to safeguard children from irreversible medical harm.
This is more than just a win for Tennessee—it’s a direct defense of what we’ve worked hard to accomplish here in Florida.
Florida Family Voice was on the front lines in 2023, helping to pass and defend legislation that protects children from puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgical interventions that can leave permanent physical and emotional scars. Today’s ruling helps shield Florida’s law from future legal attacks, reinforcing our state’s ability to prioritize the safety and well-being of its most vulnerable citizens.
Let’s be clear: this fight is far from over. But today, we thank God for this affirmation of truth, science, and common sense—and for a legal system that upheld the right of parents and lawmakers to say, “Let kids be kids.”
We will continue to stand for Florida families and children—and we’re grateful to stand with you in that mission.
