Dear Friends,
As the Legislative Session presses forward, this week brought a sobering moment for our team. While advocating to protect children—both born and unborn—our team spent long hours in key committee rooms and had a front-row seat to some of the strongest opposition we have encountered in quite some time. It became clear that this was not merely political disagreement, but a deeper challenge to the truths we believe are essential to human dignity and flourishing.
In those moments, we were reminded of the truth of Scripture: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers.” The spiritual dimension of this work is real. And yet, even in the midst of opposition, the Lord continued to open doors and move important legislation forward—while reminding our team of the enduring importance of compassion, humility, and grace toward those with whom we disagree.
As we look to the weeks ahead, we ask you to pray intentionally for wisdom, clarity, protection, and courage for our team, and that the Lord would soften hearts and guide every conversation.

What You Need to Know
Stay connected through our email alerts and social media as our Tallahassee team continues highlighting wins for life, marriage, family, and religious liberty this session.
As the session continues, we are reminded that meaningful work is rarely without resistance. Moments of challenge often clarify why this calling matters and deepen our dependence on the Lord’s wisdom and strength.
Your partnership allows our team to faithfully serve each day—advocating for children who cannot speak for themselves, supporting families under pressure, and ensuring the Church’s voice is not absent from the public square.
Florida Family Voice exists to serve in exactly this way: equipping and supporting the Church as it ministers to families across our state. And as this week reminded us, we do not labor alone. The Lord goes before us, sustains us, and remains faithful in every season.
With gratitude,
Erik Dellenback
CEO, Florida Family Voice
Did You Know?
Did you know that that Florida’s Legislative Session only lasts nine weeks each year—about two months—and the timing actually rotates? In even-numbered years (like 2024 and 2026), session runs from early January to early March. In odd-numbered years (like 2023 and 2025), it runs from early March to early May.
That short, fast-moving window is why Florida Family Voice’s full-time presence on the ground in Tallahassee is so important as we work to advance policies that protect life, strengthen families, uphold marriage, and defend religious liberty.
