Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently announced the appointment of Dr. Kevin Baird to the Florida Faith-Based and Community-Based Advisory Council. Dr. Baird is the Director of Pastoral Ministries for Florida Family Voice (formerly known as Florida Family Policy Council) and Executive Director of its Church Ambassador Network.
He and his wife, Tracie, host the Florida Capitol Project during the Florida Legislative Session each year. The Florida Capitol Project is designed for pastors and faith leaders to learn and observe the legislative process and to meet with elected Legislative Representatives and Senators while they are in Session each spring.
Dr. Baird has held this significant leadership role at Florida Family Voice for the past five years. As the former Senior Pastor of a large non-denominational church in South Carolina, he has a deep understanding of Christian leadership in one’s community. He is considered an expert in sharing the Biblical worldview and its significance not only to our state and country but also for the advancement of the gospel message worldwide.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Mid-American Nazarene University, a master’s degree in divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in ministry from Evangel Theological Seminary.
We are extremely proud of Kevin, and Tracie, too, and the great work they do for Florida Family Voice.
Congratulations, Dr. Kevin Baird! We know you will serve our great State of Florida with distinction.
