Florida Family Voice 2025 Year in Review

Dear Friends,

We have officially reached the halfway point of Florida’s 2026 Legislative Session—and make no mistake: this is where the most consequential decisions come into clearer focus. The halfway point of session is when pressure rises, timelines tighten, and key votes begin moving quickly toward the finish line.

This week, Florida Family Voice remained fully engaged at the Florida State Capitol—not only in committee hearings and legislative meetings, but also in strengthening a vital connection: the Church and the public square.

Through our Church Ambassador Network, we had the privilege of hosting pastors and faith leaders from Central Florida for an impactful day at the Capitol, led by Dylan Fisher. These were not surface-level visits. We saw meaningful relationships strengthened, leaders encouraged, and pastors reminded that the decisions being made in Tallahassee are shaping the future of Florida’s families, churches, and communities.

At the same time, our team continued investing in the next generation. Aaron DiPietro, alongside his legislative advocacy, had the opportunity to speak with student groups from Students for Life at Florida State University and TeenPact — encouraging young Floridians to stand for truth, defend life, and pursue courageous civic leadership rooted in biblical conviction.

As we enter the second half of session, we ask you to pray for wisdom, favor, and protection—for our team and for the leaders making decisions that will shape Florida for generations.

Here’s where things stand this week:

As the Legislative Session continues, we are reminded that what happens in Tallahassee affects real families, real communities, and the most vulnerable people in our state.

Now that we have reached the halfway point of session, one thing is clear: the days ahead will move quickly — and we remain committed to standing faithfully in this moment.

Your partnership allows Florida Family Voice to be in the room every day — advocating for children who cannot speak for themselves, standing with families under pressure, and ensuring that faith is not silent in the public square.

Thank you for standing with us, and please continue praying as we press forward into the second half of session.

Did You Know?

Once Florida’s Legislative Session reaches the halfway point, the Legislature begins operating under increasingly tight time constraints—and committee agendas become far more selective.

In the second half of session, leadership narrows its focus to the bills most likely to reach final passage, while hundreds of other proposals stall before making it to the floor. That is why Florida Family Voice works tirelessly each week to ensure that priorities defending life, marriage, family, and religious liberty continue moving forward—and are positioned to cross the finish line.
