I Agree with this post. Personally if a religion, or church of any kind, cannot support its self then it needs to fade away gracefully, and say we tried. Be that my religion, yours or theirs.

So, Sarah, are you saying that ONLY Christian schools or Christian charities will be eligible for these funds? Or could, let's say, a Muslim religious facility, Muslim charity or Muslim foster care agency qualify for these funds?

I agree with most of the respondents that if we vote yes we (as taxpayers) will be subject to funding all kinds of groups. This like the other amendments is very confusing. I am goint to check out your voter guide page. thank you

@Shelia, you don't have a clue and history isn't on your side. We were "endowed by our creator" - who or what the "creator" was wasn't specified. I suggest you actually read the Declaration of Independance before you go mis-quoting it. Of course, the idea that atheists are created just as equal as Christians or Muslims probably doesn't fit your razorblade-narrow worldview, and we obviously don't deserve the same rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, right?

@Anthony Yacovetti - "Wickens, and Muslims and every other so called “religious” group will benefit from this." I hope that you know that you're a bigot. Funny how your narrow, Christian world view can't encompass other faiths. Your indoctrination guarentees that you wouldn't understand or be willing to listen to intelligent debate.

I recently received an e-mail full of reasons, including actions
and opinions of founding fathers, in favor of voting "no" on #8.
Loss of freedom due to gov't control if you take their funds,
funds going to any religion, even those opposed to Christianity,
and the wording not limiting it to secular activities being reasons
to vote no.
I'm looking for your reasons and info supporting them for voting
yes. Simply stating who is for or against isn't really telling me
anything unless I know for sure they've looked beyond the title
"religious freedom". I saw no response to the concerns in
comments section that funds would go to 'any' religion.
Where do I look for flfamily's answers to these concerns?
Thank you for your time and any help you can give me to
allay my fears that an organization with such influence may
not have done the deeper digger.
