</em>This year, a record number of US cities will be participating in <em>40 Days for Life</em>&#8216;s 40 days of prayer and fasting, community outreach, and peaceful vigils outside of abortion facilities.</p>

<em>(Hosted by FFPC, Lifebridge Church, My Faith Votes)</em> The Florida Family Policy Council, Lifebridge Church (formerly Harvest Bible), and My Faith Votes will be hosting a Pastors Conference and Community Forum in Windermere on Tuesday, October 4<strong> </strong>entitled “An Honest Discussion about a Difficult Election.” The pastors conference will focus on how you can guide your congregation in the Christian duty to vote, and the forum will focus on how believers are to choose to vote even when the choices aren’t clear.</big></p>
<p><big>Confirmed speakers include Pastor Clayton Cloer (First Baptist Church of Central Florida), Bishop Harry Jackson (The Reconciled Church, MD), Bob Vander Plaats (President and CEO of Iowa&#8217;s The Family Leader), and John Stemberger (President and General Counsel of the Florida Family Policy Council). Additional speakers will be announced soon.</p>

<p>Absentee ballots are convenient for those who are unable (due to health reasons, schedule conflicts, travel, other) to vote in person on Election Day. These absentee ballots can be requested up to 6 days before the election and must be returned by mail (or in person) to the Supervisor of Elections no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day. If you&#8217;re voting absentee, don&#8217;t forget to sign your name before mailing your ballot!</p>

</strong>Absentee ballots are being mailed between October 4-11 and many people will fill our their ballot and return it quickly. We suggest that pastors ideally cast a vision for their congregation regarding the election either Sunday, October 9 or Sunday, October 16.</p>
