Historic Honoring of Florida’s Pregnancy Center Directors

On Monday, January 22, 2018 at 6:30pm the Florida Family Policy Council honored over 38 of Florida’s pregnancy center directors at our 5th Annual Pro-Family Days in Tallahassee.

Our theme was Trophies of Grace, celebrating the precious lives saved every day in Florida because of the ongoing commitment of these directors to support and care for women and their families facing a suspected or unplanned pregnancy. These pro-life pregnancy resource centers offer counseling, resources, referrals and training programs that enable women to manage school, work and other personal challenges while continuing their pregnancy.

The 2018 Pro-Family Days event was attended by over 250 pro-life activists, legislators and pregnancy care directors from across Florida. The keynote for the event was Pam Tebow, a pro-life activist, homeschool pioneer, and mother to Heisman Trophy winner and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow. Click here to watch the livestream from her keynote address (starting at 21:18) and sit-down interview with Al Laws of WIN Family Services.

Pregnancy care directors were also honored to meet with and hear from former Chief Justice Ricky Polston in the Florida Supreme Court chamber and with Speaker Richard Corcoran and other state leaders on the floor of the Florida House of Representatives.

“It is my distinct privilege to take part in honoring some of Florida’s finest servant leaders who minister kindness and mercy to women and their children at the most critical point in their lives when they need to be cared for.”
– Pam Tebow, Keynote

John Stemberger

“Pregnancy center directors are some of the greatest heroes of our world today. Sadly, instead of being honored, many people are seeking to discredit the remarkable work that they do in helping women make the second most important choice in their life. These ladies and men sacrificially lay down their lives by giving their time, their talents and their treasures to women and their children in some of the most difficult situations that humans face. In Florida, we want to be clear that we honor, respect and revere those who work to save the lives of women and their unborn children. Therefore, we dedicated our 2018 Pro-Family Days to honoring these men and women who labor every day to produce ‘trophies of grace.'”
– John Stemberger, FFPC President and General Counsel
